Alembic ("the App") is a trading card game collection tracker and deck builder published by TGR Publishing ("we," "us"). This policy explains what the App collects, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We've written it to be read, not to hide behind legalese.
Alembic is built to keep your collection on your device. The core of the App — your card collection, decks, and want-lists — is stored locally on your device.
If we offer an optional account for syncing your collection across devices, creating one requires an email address and stores your collection data on our behalf so it can be delivered back to your other devices. Using an account is optional; the App is fully usable without one.
When you add a card by photo, the image is used to identify the card (its game, set, number, and variant) and is not retained after identification. Photos are processed for recognition only and are not used to build an advertising profile of you.
When Alembic shows you where to buy a card you're missing, some of those links are affiliate links to third-party marketplaces such as TCGplayer and eBay. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Following an affiliate link takes you to that third party's own website or app, where their privacy policy governs what they collect. We do not receive your payment details, and we do not see what you buy beyond the aggregate commission reports those programs provide. See our Terms of Use and affiliate disclosure for more.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used and to fix problems — for example, counts of how often a screen is opened or an error occurs. Where used, this data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

Alembic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You can use Alembic without an account, keeping your data on-device. If you create an account, you may request deletion of your synced data by contacting us. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
